The Town of Markham and Young Drivers of Canada are offering a free safe driving course for all Markham residents on Tuesday July 31, 2007 starting at 7:00 p.m. to 8:45 p.m. Registration starts at 6:45.p.m. This course supports the Markham Safe Streets program, which focuses on improving road safety by positively changing driving behaviour. This is an initiative of Markham Council, overseen by the Traffic Safety Committee (TSC). Sign up for the two-hour course to be held at the Thornhill Public Library - Auditorium, 7755 Bayview Avenue. Refreshments will be provided and each participant will receive a small token of appreciation. Space is limited, so sign up now by calling 905-477-5530. |
